Malverne Morning Center and Malverne Afterschool Center

The Malverne Afterschool Center, Inc. (MAC) is a private, not-for-profit organization that provides childcare from 6:45am until the start of school, and from the end of the school day until 6:30pm.  We are located at the Davison Avenue Elementrary School and Maurice W. Downing Elementary School for AM and PM sessions and at the Howard T. Herber Middle School for the PM session only.

MAC services are available to children who attend public or private schools but live within School District 12.

WE KEEP OUR PROGRAM CLOSELY ATTUNED TO THE NEEDS OF OUR PARENTS AND THEIR CHILDREN.  Kids take part in the fun and exciting activities lined up for the whole school year.

At MAC, children are provided with snacks and they have homework help.  The children also have choices of a variety of recreational activities, such as, working in many art mediums like clay, scrap booking, sculpture and water paint.  We do dancing, singing karaoke, science experimentation, civic lessons, and math and language lessons.  We teach sports such as basketball, soccer and softball.  Ther is a student/staff ratio of 1 staff member to every 10 students.

There are daily and monthly rates available, as well as, sibling discounts.

OUR TEAM IS COMMITTED TO MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN A CHILD'S LIFE.

Our staff is made up of college graduates and college students that will teach, as well as, play with your children every day at MAC.
