“I truly believe that by supporting students’ social-emotional needs and creativity within a stimulating and supportive instructional environment, we can and will provide a school climate where all students believe they can attain personal and academic success,” she said about her new position at Malverne High School.

“As we were consulting with Ms. Gottesman throughout the year, it became evident that she was a great asset to our department,” Malverne High School Principal Dr. Vincent Romano said. “She will be an invaluable leader for our guidance department and a huge talent and resource for our students. We are fortunate to have her aboard.”

Superintendent of Schools Dr. James Hunderfund echoed these sentiments. “We are confident Ms. Gottesman’s experience will be a huge asset to us as we develop and improve our K-12 guidance program to meet the NYS standards for the 2019-2020 school year. We welcome her as a member of the Malverne School District’s Leadership Team.”
