AP Honor Roll

Once again, Malverne High School was placed on the College Board’s Annual AP District Honor Roll for Significant Gains in Student Access and Success in Advanced Placement Courses. Malverne was the ONLY district named from Nassau County for the honor this year and is one of 373 school districts in the U.S. and Canada being honored by the College Board with placement on the 9th Annual AP® District Honor Roll. To be included, MHS had to, since 2016, increase the number of students participating in AP while also increasing or maintaining the percentage of students earning AP Exam scores of 3 or higher.   More specifically, Malverne experienced a 23% increase in enrollment while increasing the percentage of students scoring a 3 or higher by 15%!

“This is an award not only recognizing our AP program, but our entire school community.  This recognition could not be possible without the collective effort and support of the entire school community from parents, counselors, staff, central office, administration, and most importantly our students and teachers,” Dr. Romano said. “Thank you to the Board of Education for supporting all our initiatives to provide students with abundant support.”
