Record Number of AP Scholars

It was another record-breaking year for Malverne High School’s Advanced Placement students who excelled on the 2018 AP exams. A total of 71 past and present students were recognized as AP Scholars this fall. This number includes four National AP Scholars.

Congratulations to the following students on achieving this honor:

National AP Scholar
Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more exams.

AP Scholars with Distinction
Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more exams.

AP Scholars with Honor
Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.
