Following a tradition spanning more than a quarter of a century, students from all four schools in the district invited their families to join them as they brought Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy to life in a celebration of song, dance and dramatic performances, whose theme was “Dare to Dream.” The 28th Annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration, which took place on the evening of Jan. 17, featured a video presentation, followed by performances by high school soloists, MAC kindergartners, first- and second-graders, the fourth- and sixth-grade choruses, the Harmony Club, the high school mixed chorus and the high school dance group.
