Fourth-grader Isaiah Forte has become a local celebrity at Davison Avenue Intermediate School, where he amazed his fellow students with a standout performance at the school’s annual talent show. But it was his love of horses and skill in the saddle that have made him a celebrity outside of school. In the spring of 2013, Isaiah began competing in the Long Island Horse Show Series for Riders with Disabilities, where he proved to be a skilled rider. He went on to qualify for the Hampton Classic Horse Show on Aug. 26, where he took home third-, fourth- and sixth-place ribbons in the Leader/Sidewalker Division.

Now Isaiah is about to become a national celebrity when “The Today Show” chronicles the story of his success on their “Hope to It” series on Nov. 12. Keep an eye out for his segment that day!
