On Thursday, August 29th, Malverne High School hosted its annual Freshman Orientation for the class of  2017.  The Guidance Department conducted a workshop for the parents of the incoming ninth  graders.  Dr. Romano, Malverne’s new Principal, conducted a seminar on goal setting utilizing the  district’s “Dare to Dream” initiative.  Several other workshops, including a workshop on student  expectations run by Assistant Principal Kesha Bascombe and Dean Christopher Brescia, were included in  the program.   The Freshmen also participated in a seminar given by students of the class of 2013 and had fun orienting themselves to their new school by enjoying a building wide scavenger hunt.
